PRESS

Press Passes are issued by advance request only. Please contact our office with your Press Pass requests. Please include your name & contact info, the name of the organization/publication/blog you are working for, information on the scope of your article or story, and the date which you are planning to come to the rodeo. We request copies of any photographs taken with a Cowtown Rodeo Press Pass.  Press Passes are only issued for our regular rodeo season performances, May 27 - September 30, 2017.

Behind the scenes press access is only available via a Press Pass, at the owners discretion. We enforce a strict dress code set by the PRCA for anyone with behind the scenes access. Photographers must be in long pants (jeans are encouraged) and a long sleeve (preferably button down or snap) shirt. No one in shorts, t-shirts/tank tops, sweatshirts, or baseball caps/visors will be permitted behind the chutes. Shirts with inappropriate logos, graphics and/or words will not be permitted behind the chutes.  Cowboy hats are not required but are encouraged. Since our rodeo is now filmed and regionally broadcast, there is a chance you will be on camera and you must be in appropriate attire.

 Cowtown Rodeo Parking

Absolutely no press access is granted inside the dirt arena. The PRCA retains ownership rights to photographs or film/video taken during PRCA-sanctioned events (B15.8 Television and Media Rules). You must get PRCA license approval to sell, use, reproduce, display or distribute images taken during a PRCA-sanctioned event. Cowtown Rodeo cannot grant this license -- you must contact the PRCA directly here.

Cowtown Rodeo reserves the right to deny access to anyone behind the chutes, regardless if a press pass has been issued or not. Security will check for your pass so please have it readily available for clearance.
