Welcome to Cowtown Off-Season!

Posted by: Cowtown Rodeo Posted Date: 11/01/2018
November is here and we have already begun preparations for 2019 (our 65th consecutive season!).  Our livestock (and most staff!) is on break and we are prepping for winter silage feeding.  There are many projects in the works including our very first Boy Scout Night at the Rodeo and additions to the way we electronically communicate with our loyal fans and contestants.  If you didn't sign up for our weekly email of the Rodeo Day Sheet, you can do so here and be in the loop as all 2019 season announcements are made, including your advance weekly copy of the day sheet.  Opening Night is May 25, 2019.   We are also partnering with Cowtown Farmers Market to host a "Christmas at Cowtown" event on December 22.  You can take a wagon ride with the Equine Zamboni Belgians (as seen before each rodeo), graciously provided by owner Phil Clifford, and even take a pony ride, barrel train ride or see Santa!  Full event details can be found here.   Winter is a time of rest for most, but much work for some, around the Cowtown Ranch.  We hope to see you on December 22 and also next Spring as Cowtown 2019 will be here before we know it!
